Safiqul Islam is Assistant Director of Student Recruitment and Operations at UK Management College, bringing extensive experience in the UK higher education sector, with particular expertise in student recruitment, business development, partnership management, and conversion. He combines a strategic, data-led approach with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering positive student outcomes.

In his role, Safiqul provides leadership across student recruitment and operations, developing targeted recruitment strategies and intake plans aligned with UKMC’s institutional goals. He works closely with recruitment officers, conversion teams, Marketing and academic departments to strengthen communication, improve performance and support a seamless journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment.

Safiqul has extensive experience in performance analysis, KPI management and recruitment planning. He uses data and performance insights to identify opportunities, address gaps and implement timely improvements that support sustainable recruitment growth. His approach combines commercial awareness with an understanding of the needs and expectations of prospective students.

A key part of his work is developing and managing strong relationships with agency partners. Safiqul maintains regular engagement with agency networks, monitors performance and supports training and development initiatives where required, helping to build effective and accountable recruitment partnerships.
