Supporting your emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing — and ensuring every student has equal access to education.
We are the Wellbeing and Disability & Inclusion services at UKMC — two dedicated teams working together to support students with their mental health, disability needs, and additional requirements. We provide safe, inclusive, and confidential spaces where every individual feels valued, supported, and able to achieve their full potential.
To remove barriers to learning and ensure that every student:
Talk confidentially with a Wellbeing Advisor — on campus or online — about stress, personal concerns, emotional health, or academic pressures.
Confidential conversations to understand your individual needs following a wellbeing request form, with personalised next steps and recommendations.
Tailored plans for students with disabilities, long-term conditions, or temporary difficulties, including:
Online workshops and skill-building sessions promoting positive mental health, resilience, and inclusion.
Students trained to support their peers through leadership, creative activities, and self-care programmes that promote connection.
Events to build confidence, manage stress, and feel supported — plus classroom visits to raise awareness of available services.
Support for eligible students through DSA, including:
