Saul Higgins

Saul is Head of Quality and Compliance at UKMC. He is an experienced educational leader bringing experiences of Academic Management, and Quality and Operations Management, and Strategic Project Management.  Saul has a proven record of strengthening governance, enhancing operational effectiveness, and delivering consistent quality improvements across complex academic settings. He works across all departments, supporting and implementing processes to enhance quality and compliance across UKMC.

Saul holds an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Manchester, is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, PRINCE2 certified project manager, as well as other professional qualifications which combine strategic insight and deliverables with rigorous creative and analytical capability.

Across roles in the UK and internationally, Saul has led the development of quality systems, regulatory compliance operations, audit and risk management processes, and institution-wide improvement projects. Known for guiding teams through organisational change, Saul embeds rigorous assurance frameworks while promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous enhancement.
