UKMC Welcomes Its First Psychology Students at Induction Day

UK Management College was delighted to welcome its first Psychology students at the
Psychology Induction Day held on 2 July 2026 across our Derby, Salford, and
Sunderland
campuses.
The day marked an important milestone for the college as we officially welcomed the
inaugural Psychology students, celebrating the launch of a programme that reflects
UKMC's continued commitment to expanding high-quality educational opportunities.
Throughout the induction, students had the opportunity to meet their academic teams,
connect with fellow students, and gain an overview of their programme and what they
can expect over the coming years. Sessions also introduced students to the wide range
of academic, wellbeing, and student support services available at UKMC, ensuring they
begin their studies with the knowledge and confidence to make the most of their
university experience.
The atmosphere across all three campuses was warm, engaging, and full of enthusiasm
as students took their first steps into university life. Induction Day provided the perfect
opportunity to familiarise themselves with their learning environment, ask questions,
and start building relationships with both staff and peers.
As the first group of students to join the Psychology programme, they are embarking on
an exciting journey that will see them develop a strong understanding of human
behaviour, critical thinking, research skills, and professional practice over the next four
years.
We are delighted to welcome our new Psychology students to the UKMC community
and look forward to supporting them throughout their academic journey. We wish them
every success as they begin this exciting new chapter and look forward to seeing them
grow, achieve, and make a meaningful impact in the years ahead.
