UKMC’S CEO Selected as Keynote Speaker at Global Summit in Oxford

Our CEO, Md Zahidul Islam has been announced for a keynote speaking role at the 16th World Leaders Summit – Oxford 2026, set to take place on Friday 10th April at the University of Oxford.

Md Zahidul Islam has been formally recognised by the summit’s Jury & Communications Review Committee following a detailed evaluation of global nominees. The committee highlighted his impactful leadership and dedication to advancing inclusive, community-driven education across the UK.

Md Zahidul Islam’s work in expanding access to education—particularly through English language learning initiatives and second-chance academic opportunities—stood out as a significant contribution to social development. His efforts within UKMC have helped create pathways for individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue education and improve their future prospects.

As a result of this impact, our CEO has been selected as a keynote speaker—an honour reserved for a select group of international leaders whose work contributes meaningfully to global dialogue and sustainable development.

Speaking on “Education Without Barriers: Strengthening Communities Through Accessible Learning,” this moment reflects UKMC’s commitment to creating real impact through inclusive education.

This is a proud milestone for our community, as we continue to empower futures and drive meaningful change.
