UK Management College Opens New Salford Campus to Expand Higher Education Access in Greater Manchester
Salford, Greater Manchester, UK – UK Management College is proud to announce the official opening of its newest campus in Salford, the third in the Manchester region and a major milestone in the institution’s mission to expand access to high-quality, inclusive higher education across the UK.
Located at 17 Carolina Way, Quays Reach, Salford, M50 2ZY, the Salford Campus is expected to welcome up to 500 students each day and will offer a range of degree programmes in subjects such as business, management, digital marketing, health and social care, events management, and fashion management. The campus has been thoughtfully designed to support learners of all backgrounds, helping them gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive.
This milestone reflects UKMC’s commitment to widening participation in higher education, particularly for learners who may previously have faced barriers to accessing degree-level study. The Salford Campus is strategically designed to serve students of all ages and backgrounds, fostering a community-centred learning environment that supports both academic and professional growth.

The opening ceremony welcomed a range of education leaders and local representatives, including the Mayor of Trafford, Councillor Jane Brophy; High Sheriff Martin Ainscough; Deputy Ceremonial Mayor of Salford, Councillor Robin Garrido; Dr Pete Cross, Chief Operating Officer, University of Wolverhampton; Professor Clare Schofield, Dean, University of Wolverhampton; and Mohammad Jobayer Hosen from the Bangladesh High Commission. Their presence highlighted the strong support for the campus and its expected positive impact on the local community.
Through its partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, students at the Salford campus will graduate with degrees validated by a respected UK university, adding strong recognition to their qualifications. UKMC’s expansion in the Manchester region has already created hundreds of jobs and reflects its continued focus on student success and real-world outcomes. With campuses across Manchester, Sunderland, Newcastle, and Derby, the college is working toward becoming a recognised university in the coming years.
