Phil Kilburn

Phil Kilburn is an experienced senior leader, consultant and trusted adviser with a career spanning technology, professional services, organisational change, and learning and development in the UK and overseas.

He is the Financial and Professional Services Sector Development Lead at the GM Business Growth Hub, where he works with employers, universities, public bodies and professional organisations to support the growth of this strategically important sector across Greater Manchester. He is also the founder of Caswell Training, providing independent change management and learning consultancy.

Phil brings extensive experience of strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement and constructive challenge, gained through leadership roles and major transformation programmes in the UK and internationally. Earlier in his career, he worked with United Nations agencies, developing a lasting commitment to widening access, building capability and creating opportunities.

As an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee, Phil supports UK Management College’s governance, sustainable growth and commitment to positive student outcomes.
