Volunteer Week 2026 – Giving Back to Our Community

Volunteer Week 2026 – Giving Back to Our Community

Volunteer Week 2026 will take place from 1st–7th June 2026 across all campuses, with students and staff coming together to support local charities through food donations and community awareness initiatives.

This initiative is being organised by the Wellbeing Team because we strongly believe in community upliftment, kindness, compassion, and supporting individuals and families who may be experiencing hardship within our local communities.

Throughout the week, each campus will be collaborating with a local charity and encouraging students and staff to donate essential food and hygiene items, including:

  • Tinned food
  • Pasta, rice, and cereal
  • Long-life milk
  • Tea, coffee, and snacks
  • Toiletries and hygiene products

Donation points will be located in the reception area at each campus. Posters and awareness materials will also be displayed in classrooms and communal areas to encourage participation and engagement.

Volunteer Week is an opportunity to celebrate kindness, compassion, and the impact small actions can have on others. By working together as a college community, we hope to raise awareness about food poverty, support local charities, and encourage students to engage in meaningful acts of giving back.

We encourage all students and staff to get involved and support the campaign by donating an item, spreading awareness, and helping us make a positive impact in our local communities.
