Mrs Jagori Bandyopadhyay MA, MBA

Jagori has worked in senior administrative roles in several Higher Education Institutions in the Northwest including Russell Group and Post 92 universities spanning 22 years. She has extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Enhancement, Compliance and Governance in higher education.

In her administrative roles she has led in the review and approval of courses, worked with partner colleges, worked with several professional and statutory bodies (PSRBs) for course accreditation, been the Institutional Lead for NSS, worked with Pro Vice Chancellors for QAA and OfS reviews, and developed processes and policies for the enhancement of student experience and ensuring compliance with the quality and standard of academic provision. With a passion for contributing to the enhancement of student journey in Higher Education,
she has now assumed the senior leadership role of Academic Registrar and is a member of the Executive Board of UKMC. She strongly believes in the ethos of widening participation.

Jagori has studied as a mature student with two young kids and completed her Masters in Victorian Literature, and Masters in Business Administration (Human Resource Management), both from the University of Liverpool, UK. She is keen to add value to the life of other students who have chosen to advance their careers by studying at UKMC, especially mature students.
