We are thrilled to announce that Professor Hesham Magd has published a research article titled, “The Effect of Entrepreneurial Education on Entrepreneurial Intention of Undergraduate Students,” in the SCOPUS-indexed Global Business and Economics Review (Q4, Volume 31, Number 4, 2024).
This study explores the role of entrepreneurial education in fostering entrepreneurial intentions among undergraduate students in Oman. Using data from 216 students, it reveals a marked increase in entrepreneurial intention among those who completed a mandatory entrepreneurship course compared to those who did not.
Professor Magd’s findings underscore the value of a robust entrepreneurship curriculum within higher education. His research provides critical insights that can support UKMC’s ongoing commitment to curriculum development, instructional innovation, and assessment enhancement in entrepreneurial studies. These findings highlight how a thoughtfully designed entrepreneurship curriculum can empower students with a profound understanding of entrepreneurship, actively encourage their participation in entrepreneurial endeavours, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset.
On a broader level, this publication underscores the global relevance of entrepreneurship education, pointing to the positive impact that targeted educational strategies can have on students’ career and life trajectories.
